03 · How we engage

A simple deal: a fee to build it, a royalty to prove it.

You pay a project fee for the formulation work. We deliver the prototypes, the specs, and the CoMan coordination — and take a small royalty on what we help create. Our incentives are pointed at the same thing yours are: a product that sells.

We pressure-test the concept, the category, and the goal — then scope the work and the timeline.

Formulate & Prototype

Actives, doses, flavor, and format. We build real prototypes and iterate in the lab until it's right.

Deliver & Refine

You get prototypes, specs, and rationale. We refine against your feedback and market reality.

STEP 04

CoMan Handoff

We package it into a build sheet, coordinate the manufacturer, and stay on to protect the formula at scale.

What exactly does Masters of Molecules do?
We are a full-stack supplement formulation studio. We take a concept — or a category you want to own — and formulate it, source the actives, engineer the flavor, build real benchtop prototypes, and hand a manufacturable spec sheet to your contract manufacturer. One team, concept to CoMan.
How does your pricing work?
A project fee covers the formulation work, and we take a small royalty on products we help create. You pay for the build; we share the upside. Our incentives point at the same thing yours do — a product that actually sells.
Do you work with early-stage brands or only established ones?
Both. We build hero SKUs for brands doing tens of millions, and we help focused founders launch a category-defining first product. What matters is the quality of the concept and your commitment to getting it right.
Who manufactures the final product?
We don't manufacture. We formulate and coordinate. We translate the finished formula into a build sheet, hand it to your contract manufacturer (CoMan), and stay in the loop so scale-up doesn't break what we built. If you need a manufacturer, we can point you to trusted ones.
